      Some Good, Some Okay, and Some Bad

      Pros

      -Hard, stimulating work that keeps you busy and passes the day quickly -Good experience in drafting MEP plans and also project management -Nice co-workers, most people similar in age -Family-oriented -Helpful supervisors depending on your team

      Cons

      -Hard, time-consuming work that sometimes requires working overtime. -Sometimes doing more emailing than actual engineering. -A mismanaged schedule that can sometimes prioritize project completion over project quality. -Not always the most consistent in quality/professionalism. -Occasional bouts of unprofessional management that tends to undermine employees' needs - see advice to management.

      Co-workers that work here are good.

      Cons

      - boss is very smelly, very unprofessional, and always late to meetings - boss mistreats employees, also lots of favoritism - boss has bipolar disorder - very independent working environment - underpaid - human resource department is non-existent - overtime is normal, always working late without appreciation - the quality of the projects are very poor, they are never checked by the engineer of the record - they are more focused on bringing in work than completing projects - they rush projects to meet deadlines and they always return with complaints - lots of conflicts with architects and structural departments - most project plans are not build-able, it is surprising that others trust this company in the first place

      Great experience and exposure right out of college for the commercial side of engineering.

      Pros

      -Flexible hours (sometimes long hours because of workload but good as well) -Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) -Paid vacation and sick days -Fairly positive work environment -Good exposure to real life situations during design and construction phase -Will learn a lot with multiple departments working under one roof.

      Cons

      -Very little or no training in what you need to do. If you are lucky, you may have the main engineer train you else you are left with another junior engineer to show you the ropes. -Very little (if none) superiors/mentors to assist when you really need them. -Little direction on what the future may hold -Unknown job titles and what is expected from you -Unknown actual scheduling for jobs so you may randomly have to stay late to finish something
