Pros

No pros at all, don’t waste your time.

Cons

Where do I start You don’t start earning commission until you’ve banked £15k to cover their costs and doesn’t seem easy to get their month on month so you’re basically working for your basic pay. Owner is very old fashioned and corporate, it’s basically a call centre. Owner consistently wants 3 hours of phone time each day regardless of results and has a screen with your call time in their HQ. No training whatsoever, owner threatened me via email multiple times whilst at their HQ saying I couldn’t leave until I have hit targets whilst training. They work with the worst estates agents on the market such as purplebricks. For training I had to walk from the hotel to their HQ through fields plus the office is in the middle of no where. Owner surrounds himself with a bunch of yes men. Anyone reading this or looking to join, don’t waste your time, worst company I have dealt with, embarrassment of a company.

We are sorry that you feel your experience with GOTO was not a positive one. Our commission scheme usually works very well and many of our staff achieve significant commission levels. We are a professional company and encourage all our staff to achieve the best possible results for themselves and for GOTO and are lucky enough to work with the top estate agents in the market. It is a shame that you were not prepared to extend your training period to ensure that you were fully competent before we were able to let you work independently from home. We are lucky enough to have a stunning office in the countryside but it is a stone’s throw from the M40 junction so the best of both worlds. It was your choice to walk from the hotel we provided for the period of your training and transport or a lift from our friendly team could easily have been arranged had you requested it. We wish you the best of luck for the future and hope you find a role more suited to you.

Poor Employer

Pros

Other staff members are friendly and welcoming

Cons

Director level leadership is non existent and routinely makes poor business decisions which then are left to staff to deal with. This company does not value their staff nor do they care about their work. They hire and fire on a whim, and will ignore hard work and strong contribution if your face doesn't fit. They routinely put pressure on staff to give time and effort over and above contract without any compensation. If you attempt to reason with the management, they force you out.
