Colleagues are relaxed, considerate and easy to make friends with. Not so detailed time logging as in industry. Freedom to learn and research an approach / topic for a project.
Cons
Upper management is asleep on the wheel with no initiative. Dinosour style management, just looking at spreadsheets while there are less and less actual projects. Don't actively try to fill missing manpower etc.
