      Management should stop putting false review to this company

      Pros

      It was a company like family, but not anymore. Some engineers are very good and dedicated to their work although long hours of work and travel far from home; If you like travel, it gives you the chance to see the world;

      Cons

      Too many but just list a few: Management has no knowledge of the business itself this company does. Treat employee as replaceable parts that they are ready to replace you with newbies anytime. No appreciation at all to hardworking employees; Could have a lots of travel if you work on projects; Focusing on reducing operating cost by paying less to employees. Little chance for promotion if you are an engineer.

      Pros

      The engineers and all employees are helpful, kind, and appreciative of each individual. Have always had a team approach and promoting of communicating, and nurturing.

      Cons

      Executive manager is driving good employees away by demeaning those who have worked in the business for years. Many have more work than can be completed in even a 50 hour week and it is getting worse by the week.

      Decent benefits and friendly, skilled engineers.

      Cons

      Current management has destroyed the company. They claim to look at their last years numbers to show how great of a job they are doing. Numbers are easy to make look good when 1/4 of the company is laid off and another 1/4 leave voluntarily. Those numbers will only help for a short time. Management bases their indication on how well the company is doing solely off their stock prices and not feedback from their employees or customers. Since GSE has "total transparency" go take a look into their stock symbol GVP to read all about their performance-restricted stock units and make your own decision on what their focus is.
