This company is awful as soon as you are hired they trick you into thinking they are a fun supportive company and teaches you about GTE Financial's Culture. They explain to you that the main goal is to keep employees and intern the company will flourish. WELL LET ME TELL YOU THAT IS A JOKE! They think is they have enough birthday celebrations and job celebrations it will mask the horrible management, sneaky and backstabbing culture. The company is very gossipy and there is no room for growth at the company unless you are popular with the right people. Joe the CEO of the company has his favorites which include several AVP's and VP's which he gives special treatment to and allows them to do whatever they want when they want. And if his minions don't like you, you will be pushed out of the company, I have seen it happen to several of my colleagues.

Where to begin... CEO is a complete jerk and arrogant as all get out. Regionals are in a popularity competition. Backstabbing should have been listed on the job responsibilities. If you're a manager, good luck terminating low performing employees, especially if the regional likes them. It's like high school! HR is really a nice nick name for "individuals who will tell the person you are making a complaint about and make it a public shame for you". Education is despised there. If you have a Bachelors or above, you are regarded asvbeing high minded and god-forbid intelligent.
