Obvious Favoritism, Poor Processes, and Lack of Professionalism
Pros
Some flexibility in schedule Remote work opportunities
Cons
If you’re not part of the management’s favored group, advancement is unlikely. Promotions and career growth are clearly based on personal relationships rather than performance or merit. The leadership team lacks experience and often favors individuals who speak their language, fostering a biased and exclusive work environment. There is a disconnect between the client and the recruiter managing the team, which leads to confusion and inefficiency. A proper feedback system is nonexistent, leaving employees without any guidance on their performance or areas for improvement. Onboarding and offboarding processes are poorly handled. You might come to work one day and, based on hearsay, be told you've been offboarded without any formal process or communication. Meetings tend to drag on unnecessarily when simple emails would suffice, wasting both time and resources. The overall workflow is tedious, as the team does not use CRMs efficiently, making daily tasks more cumbersome than they should be.
