- Incompetent management/stakeholders/corporate officers
- They put zero effort into verifying their staff’s background, both professionally and otherwise; had an incident where they’d hired what could essentially be summed up to as a “Columbine Kid” (kept a manifesto of names of people “who wronged him”, stalked numerous female staff around office)
- Paid absolute bare minimum for both entry level and post-collegiate/equal experience positions. Ironically, they also expected you to be in the LA area, and make constant trips to Monrovia from their Glendale office on your dime (gas/car wear is your own ordeal; any trip expense compensation requests might as well have been circumvented straight to the trash, as HR never acknowledged or followed through with them)
- Transphobic/homophobic demeanor and comments went unpunished, both by HR and management; helps too when your own CTO hops in on the jokes about an employee of a competitor company “looking like a man” and making comments about their sexuality. Truly professional.
