Dear Former Game Programmer,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Making games is not for the faint of heart—it requires passion, dedication, and a high level of interdependency among teammates. We work hard to ensure that everyone on our team feels heard and has ample opportunities to voice their opinions and concerns.
One of our core values is to ensure that all employees have a voice. If there is ever a situation of "toxic behavior," we take it very seriously and address it immediately. Our process is clear: the issue is raised, all parties involved are spoken to, and an independent party is brought in to investigate and resolve the situation.
We actively encourage open communication among our team and believe in fostering a culture of problem-solving. This means that team members are encouraged not only to discuss concerns but also to bring forward ideas on how to address potential issues. We believe that when everyone is part of the solution, the entire team benefits and is fully engaged.
It’s unfortunate that you felt your concerns were not adequately addressed during your time with us. We are always working to improve, and we value recommendations from both current and former team members as we balance the needs of the project with those of our people.
In the game industry, our people are our greatest asset, and we do our best to support them. We recognize that not every environment is the perfect fit for everyone, and that’s okay. We’re sorry that you felt unheard, and we genuinely welcome any further discussions on how we can improve.
We wish you all the best in your future career endeavors.
