Pros

- friendly and nice collegues where u can share your gaming interest.

Cons

- First of all, this company totally a trap carrer. If u got a better idea just keep it to yourself bcos the ceo Eddy Yap too naive to understand your idea. He likes to do everything traditional. When outlet based were in chaos like no stock, facing some issues, etc u will find him in dc playing diablo IV. He’s prejudice in terms of people appearance and Expresses problematic views on race especially indian people. He also have a creepy behaviour, if you’re pretty enough and meet his standard, he will talk to u whenever he got chances. Just be careful he might have another agenda. - Dont try to act smart or show your hardworking to them otherwise they will take advantage on your credibility. - Second person need to avoid is Kenny Phang, Area manager. Got no experiences in gaming industry. He previously working at jungle house, selling honey. He said he was one of the founder but he choose to resign bcos there’s a conflict happend. U will slowly see that whether he was actually telling a truth or not by his action and his thought. Assumed himself as gamers just bcos he play mobile game so much and only a little games as in consoles. Dk anything about how should the POS works and complaining. He not even bother to be at your back and listen on what u facing. But in front of the ceo he will act like he knows everything. Whatever comes from his mouth is sound legit…but not. Example “ceo ask me to do this to u” but in fact the ceo dk anything about it. He like to act like he own the company but it fact he just a puppet. Just bcos he work so close with ceo he think he can do everything towards the staff - Third person, Boon Han, HR dept. This guys was a dog that been used by eddy and kenny. He literally dk what happend in particular dept, just followed what kenny and eddy said. He will talk to u and give some irrelevant reason to terminate u or warning u without knowing what is the real situation happend. - whoever works here believe that gaming industry were actually getting better years by years but the ceo looks into other different perspective which is selling squishy toys will generate more revenue. - If your salary can mantain around 5K a month for 3 months, u just wait for it to be cut !. Management actually dont like what u getting. They always find excuses to cut it off. - forget to mention, The CEO got no education background even a SPM. He build the company just only by reading books. So maybe he thinks that he live in fairytale story. When it comes a meeting, Kenny and Eddy will share u a story that they read from the books or from the movie they watch just to motivate u. But it actually not even related to the situation or things that u actually facing. Monthly meeting or whatever meetings are useless bcos your thought or idea as a frontliner wont be consider bcos kenny and eddy are too stupid to understand a simple method. - Dont trust anyone from the management ! Even they act like can be trusted. - The salary deduction not reasonable, like stock loss, oulet cleaning. Your salary will get deduction by this 2 things. You cleaning your outlet every morning and kenny will come and inspect it at peak hour of your outlet operation. And he will said “window display got some fingerprint so u need clean it frequently” or “your dummy case game selection not arrange by following the alphabet” or he will swipe his finger BELOW the cabinet where its obviously will be dusty to deduct your salary. Then he will said everything need to be clean and neat every hour. Then u start to look back your offer letter whether your position was a sales assistant or janitor. - there’s a lot of red flag about this company. Really depending on investor. If you ask all their supplier or mall tenancy, it always have bad record. Other competitor like impulse gaming, cex, m4g etc were expanding in good ways but not gamers hideout. U can see in gaming community in Facebook how bad is gamers hideout reputation was.

Pros

- Birthday leave - Strategic location, the opening of LRT 3 would have make the commute much better had I not been made redundant. - Depending on the situation at the warehouse, working days are usually 5 days a week. - Friendly and tolerant warehouse crew. The warehouse crew would often look out for each other. - Overtime pay.

Cons

- The stock take is the worst. HR will not tolerate any losses over RM500. The finance team will not believe you, even if you have provided them necessary evidence. - Applying for leave on a Friday is nearly to completely impossible. - HR seems to hold some grudge against the warehouse crew for unknown reason. - Terrible management. A lot of favouritism going around the office. - Unnecessary penalties that are borderline torturous and painful. - Not recommended for people who have high-stress levels. - Sometimes, the higher ups like to point fingers.

Pros

- The colleagues you find at the outlets are truly the unsung heroes. - Great Team Effort among colleagues only. -Adequate Salary Package if this is your first job.

Cons

- Top management that has no sense of direction or goals. - Too much debt to consolidate, huge risk and high mismanagement. - Purchase from competitors instead of making sure own supply line is well managed. -Making loss at a daily basis, top management is pro at finding excuses and pin it all on you as employees.
