Poor management, decision making, and communications. Nowadays they only seem to care about the bottom line.

Pros

The product has potential. Fast-paced and dynamic organization. Mostly remote.

Cons

Severe mico-management from the very top. The founder created Gardyn but can't see past his own bias to understand what the customer really wants. Frequent surprise firings and layoffs of good people that the CEO has decided he doesn't like. Before taking a job here. High burn rate in both cash and people. I highly recommend you look up people who have recently left and get a full perspective

Pros

My own team and the commodore within said team.

Cons

A company that does not care about their employees, the world, or their customers. Everything they do is set into place with one goal in mind: how can we squeeze as much money out of everyone. Customer complaints were constant, Gardyn’s break after a few weeks, yet the ceo continued to sit on his high horse thinking he built the worlds greatest product (he didn’t).
