Rewarding tasks and work environment but high amounts of stress and little career growth for young professionals
Pros
There is a lot of freedom, very little micro-managing, and good possibilities of working within your field of interest. Flex time and semi-flexible work hours, and always different and interesting days. Loads of networking internally and externally and great colleagues both professionally and socially.
Cons
The pay and pension are for non-senior employees way below average, and management doesn't follow through with their policies and commitments. There is no transparency of salaries and career growth opportunities and young and dedicated professionals are considered replaceable. There is constant stress of securing funding for new projects which lowers the time for and quality of the existing projects and makes everyone stressed about the financial security and final results. The organizational structure and strategy change frequently, and you never know what to expect from the next employee meeting. Many quit, many are sick with stress and the employees that are left have to take on the extra work with no rewards.
