Pros

Employees are friendly and typically knowledgeable

Cons

Company leadership is toxic. Encourage employees to be willing to say/do "whatever it takes" to squeeze both the client and candidate for maximum profit.

We are surprised by this review and disappointed this employee is so disgruntled. This former employee was given a very generous severance package, as well as continued medical/dental/vision care beyond what the company was required to provide. They left for another opportunity which was better suited for their skill set. We always try to make our team members feel appreciated and supported. We still wish this past employee success in their new endeavor. As far as the comment about our clients and candidate, that simply isn't true. We are very fair with our clients and candidates. In fact, we have clients thank us for our pricing. For our contractors, we offer a generous benefits package, which includes Life Insurance paid 100%... most other companies do not offer the benefits GH provides.

Pros

A place to develop professional recruiting/sales skills without the ridiculous expectation to hit numbers for the sake of lining executive’s pockets. Are metrics important? Sure. Do they define who you are as a person and your success? Absolutely not! GH believes that while your individual production and hard work are important, there is more to success than making a million calls and following the cookie cutter mentality of most agency recruiting companies. The landscape of Agency Recruiting/Staffing is changing and GavinHeath is leading the way in creating a team of people who truly care about each other, candidates and clients. Collaboration, effective communication, integrity, and holding each other accountable is at the heart of what makes GH successful. Change is the only constant in life and GH has seen its fair share of it. I have personally seen the growth over the past three years. Proven success through situations like COVID and the current Great Resignation period have really shown how resilient the team is. Adaptability and willingness to change rings true here. If something is not working, change it! Not everything happens overnight but knowing there will be support and conversations to work towards a common goal is key. Not everything works out for the best, but leadership is willing to learn from those experiences and push towards a better future. Every company does it differently but here are some highlights of what you can expect at GH. A small team with a big business feel (there are over 80 clients and a lot of success over the big dogs in the industry). Base salary that is on the high end for agency recruiting. An uncapped commission structure that does not require you to pay back your base salary or withhold a draw prior to awarding payouts. Annual uncapped Bonus opportunity that is attainable and is prorated based on your first year start time. Healthcare benefit options that take effect immediately, are offered to contractors on the same level, and include a $250 monthly stipend to help offset premium costs. A hybrid work environment that allows you to earn more flexibility or PTO days. People will always come and go regardless of this growth. If you are looking for a place that offers opportunity, challenge, professional growth and a place where you are treated like a person and not a number, check it out!

Cons

This is still a growing team that is learning and developing their culture. If you are looking for an overly structured environment with easy wins, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to coast on laid back metrics, this is not the place for you. Being a smaller team, everyone must work hard and it is easily noticed when someone is not contributing. Willingness to grow this team requires onsite work with earned remote flexibility. There is constant change and you must be resilient/motivated.
