Pros
It's been three years and what an amazing ride it has been. I started with the company as a Branch Manager in training. Within my first 60 days I was sent to our Lawrenceville location to finish up my training. I had experience from my previous rolls however flooring was not something I had dealt with hands on. The training and support I received was exceptional to say the least. I assumed the branch at the end of my probation period and during this time I had the opportunity to express my ambitions with "the power that be" In regards to moving up in the company and what areas and skills I would need to learn/display. Within a year and a half I was given the opportunity to assume a larger volume location. Like many of us at some point had heard before in our careers " This is the next step towards your goals." I agreed to the lateral move and started my journey. Within a year and a half I was notified that I was being promoted to District Sales Manager. This was possibly the only time in my different ventures/careers that I had a company do exactly what they said they would do. Take away: Training and support starts on day one and it never ends. Work/Life balance is amazing with a Mon-Fri schedule. Most holidays off also. Open to new ideas and feedback. Competitive Salary with Bonus potential Work environment feels like home. From my early days I've had frequent conversations with the owner of the company as well as the COO. Open door holds true here. Opportunities are vast, I've seen this company create innovative positions based on a person skill set to promote new ideas and evolve as the world is changing.
Cons
Nothing will be handed to you. Hard work is expected. You will have to be ready to walk outside of your comfort zone. In short I haven't found and Cons, You alone own your experience with this company.
