Steer Clear - Time Wasters & Everyone Leaves Quickly

Pros

None at all, don't waste your time in this company. Met some decent people during my time here who all left nearly as quickly as I did.

Cons

The office is tiny and extremely messy. The place has a constant cycle of unpaid interns who are not treated properly and leave or count down the days until they're done. Very few paid staff, pay is extremely low. Website and Facebook engagement is very low, the likes on the Facebook page are grandfathered in from years ago by people who are no longer college students. The student cards really struggle to sell, the student card sales people are told they will get a commission if they manage to sell orders however they never do even if they manage to get a decent sale. Advertised wage you come in to interview for will be chopped down to waaay lower in the last interview you do. Hours will be 9am - 6pm. 'CEO' and the number 2 have no management skills, are abrasive, mood swings and inappropriate comments are the day to day usual. You will learn nothing from the CEO and number 2. Client retention is non-existent and a lot of bridges have been burned due to awful performance. Office equipment and software is very poor.

Pros

Some nice people (who left just as quickly as I did). Makes you think on your feet.

Cons

No professionalism or consideration for other people's time. No sense of structure and the office is a complete mess. Temperamental upper management. Sexist and ignorant comments occur on a daily basis. Pay isn't what's advertised and withheld commission- you'll also be grossly underpaid in comparison to positions of a similar nature. They treat their clients poorly, surprised that they've any left. Seem to prey on inexperienced fresh graduates who're looking to start their career. Very poor staff retention.
