Sushi Woes

Pros

Free sushi, and you work in Whole Foods, so you occasionally get good deals. Morning shift is usually fun

Cons

You work in Whole Foods, but you don't get any of the benefits Whole Foods employees enjoy. Health plan is terrible, and if you are salaried, then you will work 10-20 hours of unpaid overtime.

Pros

Its easy job once you been trained, they hires all kinda people like people who don't even speak basic english.

Cons

Like i said its easy job so salary won't go higher than $14. its hard to work with those employee who don't speak english so they are not willing to help customers because they don't speak English well its up to the one who can speak english so its kinda extra job to look our for them.

Pros

Simple job, limited selection of fish allows for more focus on the tasks available, OK benefits

Cons

I started at $12/hr WITH prior sushi experience, became someone that they rely on, but can't get a raise despite new hires being brought on at $14+/hr with no sushi experience. I am treated like an afterthought, and it is immensely insulting and disrespectful to employees who have been in situations like mine.
