Pros

People from the delivery team are good professionals.

Cons

Lack of knowledge about campaign delivery by the owner negatively affects teamwork with other directors and business performance. Changes on Directors status in which they now hold shares have negatively impacted employees by squeezing them with overtime increased workloads, in order to maximise dividends earning by Director. Promises on contract signing are rarely fulfilled. Affiliates Marketing delivered by one person, despite telling clients there is a three people team behind it, so when this person is on holidays no service can be delivered. Client retention rates are tanking due to workload not manageable by actual headcount. Employees advise and suggestions to management are ignored Mistakes on finance coming from lack of accounting expertise by the owner put the company in trouble, leading the company to own money to clients, this affected profits. Experienced staff was fired and replaced with not-experienced low-earning staff (e.g. CRM team) to increase Director's dividends. Barely legal employee monitoring by recording what they do all times, using software on their laptops which physically records what they do and takes snapshots of what they browse.

The ex-employee who wrote this review was dismissed due to multiple counts of gross misconduct in the workplace. Given the circumstances, it is disheartening but not surprising to see that this individual has felt compelled to fabricate multiple mistruths in an attempt to discredit our business and those that work within it. Due to ongoing litigation, we are not in a position to provide further information regarding the circumstances that led to their dismissal other than it being due to multiple breaches of contract. We would invite anybody to view our Google Reviews to read the many testimonials by genuine clients who have experienced nothing that has been allayed to in this review, look at our many case studies or speak to our current staff and clients to gain a true reflection of the working conditions and quality of work at Glass Digital.

A decent first step into digital marketing

Pros

- A fairly progressive company that wants to do right by its employees - Options for some flexible/remote working - You’re never stuck for things to do and there’s plenty of variety - Willing to back their team against difficult clients - Regular pay rises (to a point) - A decent first role if you’re looking to get to grips with digital marketing

Cons

- Not really any room for progression when you reach a certain point, pay also stagnates. Staff often move on to bigger things with other companies. - Client range can be underwhelming and not many exciting businesses came through the door - Communication between departments and staff was lacking (especially during pandemic) - Requests/actions made during performance reviews usually equated to nothing - Some departmental bias where one set of priorities would be put before others

Pros

Nice coworkers, and remote working.

Cons

I think financial trouble due to losing projects has negatively affected director-employees relations. No job-safety feeling and that is why most of the senior members have left the company.
