      Pros

      Family-like feel with a strong group of employees who all get along well.

      Cons

      Tended to feel like there was an "us vs them" when it came to staff and management. I didn't feel as if many of my concerns regarding direction or management decisions were heard or respected

      Pros

      You develop a lot of client relations travelling across Alberta visiting a number of oil and gas sites. Opportunity for overtime.

      Cons

      Out of town a lot, inconsistent schedule, working alone, on call when in town and the department is very short staffed.
