Pros

You know whats expected of you up front. The owners will give you a chance/time to take on larger roles if they see potential. I truly appreciate everything they did for me. I will always miss working at GV.

Cons

There are alot of shady employees that have been there many years and only care about themselves. I was in a position that saw first hand the cover ups and the length people will go to in order to cover there.... Everytime I pointed something out I looked like the bad guy. So I just stopped. I truly cared about the brand and its a shame that they are secretly taking advantage of the owners trust & loyalty.

Coworkers are a great group of people.

Cons

Low pay, no raises in last two years, office is located in a dangerous part of town, mgmt. refuses to stay current on up-to-date work trends (such as telecommuting). Many employees are jumping ship and going where their talent will be better utilized and appreciated. There is no room to grow or advance in this company. Open positions aren't even posted for other employees' consideration. Poor direction, poor communication.

Pros

The company is first in trend setting and product assortment. They spend a lot in their sales materials and presentation. There is an in-depth training week in the corporate location. They allow you the opportunity to run your own business and do not interfere for the most part.

Cons

New management has biased view of who should represent the company. Owners are extremely sensitive and not really happy, which influences everyone around them. There is little support overall, so when there is a problem, it is not addressed in a productive way. Certain employees are revered for no apparent reason. Company policies are severe and not employee friendly at all.
