Pros

Colleagues are friendly. Welshpool is cheap to live in.

Cons

Management are rude and actively encourage developers to lie to customers to avoid problems, and only worry about maximising profit by completing any project in the minimum amount of time with no regards to quality. Projects always run over budget and time due to poor communication from management to developers. Internal development processes and team work are non-existent or hacked together, and technical infrastructure is outdated and slow. Office is cramped and unbearably hot during the summer. No HR systems are in place and no neutral party to approach in case of issues. A large percentage of staff are university placement students with no experienced staff or training of any kind. Salary is unacceptably low and any promises of benefit schemes during interview are lies.

Pros

GloverSure is a fun place to work at with friendly colleagues. We have had a table football table installed this year which is helping to boost team morale. As a team we complete lots of out of work team activities such as Go-Karting, Nights out, running club and badminton. Since joining the company gave me great opportunities and support/training to help progress my career, this has also helped to increase my range of skills. All employees also receive regular appraisals and pay reviews/rises. My computer/equipment has been monitored and have had updates or upgrades when necessary. I enjoy my current job role as the office is enjoyable and I am always kept busy with a varied range of tasks and responsibilities. It's also good to work with a great team and wide selection of clients/projects.

Cons

This summer's installation of Air Con was a great start but I feel that the office could do with decorating / modernising further. The office location within Welshpool is not the best for staff due to it's distance from the town centre.

Pros

- Relaxed and friendly working environment but yet still professional. - Staff are allowed to work flexible hours and holiday time is flexible allowing holidays to be booked at a shorter notice than any of my past employers. - Career development with clear personal development plans. - The new quarterly social meetings within local pubs are great and allow everyone to give their input in to the company. - Within my past role as a web designer at the company I am allowed complete design freedom and can ensure that the design for each customer is unique with no templates used. - Recent investments in to infrastructure greatly improved both client and employee satisfaction. The biggest of these being server upgrades. - Ongoing investments to improve internal equipment such as development servers, machines and phone systems are also seeing positive results. - With recent company restructure we have seen new job roles; Technical Director and Project Manager, created which have greatly improved the running of the company and management of projects. - Within my project manager role there is great range of projects to work on and customers to work with. I enjoy working with the great team within this role to help us deliver projects within timeframes and budgets. Although there is unfortunate occasions where this is unavoidable but we do keep customers informed with regular updates.

Cons

- No staff benefit schemes currently exist. I think it would be beneficial to keep up staff morale and help to reward staff.
