Friendly work environment. Good way to gain alot of good skills e.g. customer service skills. Reasonable pay.

Cons

The work is only available during the Christmas period.

Good experience all round. Made good money. Had fun. Met my expectations. Calendar Club is professional, honest and easy to deal with.

Cons

Nothing really. You have to be prepared to put in the hard work and hours can be long at times especially when the shopping centre increased its opening hours a couple of weeks out from Christmas. That aside it was all good.

I had a great time running a store over Christmas 2016. I had very little retail or customer service experience but the program is pretty simple to follow and I got the hang of it in a few days. After that I was off and running. It was really fun dealing with customers and I loved the product - the range of titles was amazing and well received by customers. While the hours were, at times, long the financial rewards were there for me. The local manager (Troy) was really helpful and fun to work with too.

Cons

None really. Calendar Club trains you well and also doesn't sugar coat what is involved or expected. I got out of it what I put in.
