Pros
Enjoyed the people, the collaborative culture, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that had a direct impact on the business. The work was challenging and fast-paced, which fit my strengths. The compensation and benefits were competitive, but the relationships I built and the variety of projects were what I valued most.
Cons
The greatest weakness of the organization is its leadership culture. There are leaders who excel at managing projects and deliverables but struggle with the people side of leadership. Employees are not always supported when challenges arise, and there are instances where leaders appear more focused on protecting themselves than advocating for their teams. Rather than coaching through problems, accountability is often pushed downward, leaving employees feeling isolated and exposed. Stronger leadership presence, greater transparency, a commitment to employee development, and a willingness to stand behind team members would significantly improve morale, trust, and retention.
