*Commissions are restructured very often, and always to the detriment of sales reps and lower management. You will continue to work harder to make much less.
*Commissions are very often fraudulently adjusted by the company (so they don't have to pay you), and employees can do nothing to resolve issues. Employee inquiries about incorrect pay are repeatedly ignored.
*You are required to work extended hours on holidays, but do not get any form of holiday pay.
*Scheduling is subject to change with little to no notice.
*Required to attend conference calls, sudden meetings, even on scheduled days off, with very little notice.
*You will be called/texted/"groupme"d and expected to answer your phone at all hours, even on scheduled days off, even at times that directly conflict with negative scheduling requirements.
*Scheduling requirements themselves are exhausting and unrealistic, and subject to change without notice. You will be expected to comply with those changes immediately.
*PTO is difficult to use, based on schedule requirements. Company will not pay out PTO monetarily . Use it or lose it....but good luck trying to use it.
*Sales goals are unpredictable, and can swing by tens of thousands from month to month. You will never be provided the formula that builds your sales goals.
*Sales bonuses based on certain rotating metrics are in place, but the fraudulent commission adjustments ensure that the bonuses are rarely paid out.
*Upper management is TERRIBLE.
*The HR department is a mess. You will not get help. Ever...Ever.
*A code system in place for anything from returning a car charger to manually entering in a credit card ensures that your customers will be angry with you. Customers must wait while you call several managers, trying to reach someone who can provide you a code.
*GoWireless refuses to invest in advertising. It is the responsibility of the store level employees to create customer traffic, including outgoing cold calls (you will be verbally abused and hung up as if you were a telemarketer)and literally going out and knocking on doors.
*Store positions higher than sales rep are impossible task heavy. There are forms to fill out for everything. There are forms to document filling out other forms. These forms must be submitted, but no one above you will ever read them, unless they are being deliberately used to force an employee out.
*Turnover is REDICULOUS. The company has created a hostile environment, and no tenured employee will stay. Previously, there were long term (7-12 years) employees that were proud to be with God, and were wildly successful. All of those quality employees have quit or been forced out in the last 6 months. Go Wireless wants short term employees that they don't have to pay.
*You will be bullied by customers who dislike company policies. Incidents will happen that will make you feel unsafe. The company will not allow you to ban dangerous customers. They will not protect employees.
*Outdated and low quality equipment (computers, scanners, card readers, etc) in stores makes day to day opps challenging, and is an embarrassment in front of customers.
*This is now a TERRIBLE place to work.
*You will never be good enough to make the company appreciate you. Crushing sales goals, get amazing customer reviews, have a squeaky clean and inviting store....none of it matters. They will pile even more on you until you cannot succeed.
*DMs and higher are completely out of touch with what store level employees face and overcome every day.
