Pros

Free water coffee & nice colleagues!

Cons

I don't know where to begin! No one is happy at Golden Scent, and if you have another place to go I really don't advise you to go there. Extremely bad values starting from the directors, they would ask you to work for an unreasonable deadline for no good reason. The requests are not even well-thought of! But they only do it to please their head, they would spend hours in meetings and talk non-sense, and they are so scared of the CEO to even stand up and say not this should not be done like this. I have never this amount of craziness and unhappiness in one place, I honestly feel bad for my colleagues who are still there. This company will give you a hard time when asking for vacation days, even if you have not taken it for months. They don't send holiday announcements for Eid and other public holidays so you can work though out these days. They would have meetings on Saturdays, even if its not needed just to gather these employees around in a call. The atmosphere is very toxic to an extent people stopped saying good morning to each other. So many people are so tired and fed up!

Pros

Work colleagues, they are lovely people.

Cons

By far one of the worst companies I’ve worked with. There’s little to no structure, the employees are worked to the bone. The employee abuse at this company is through the roof. No room for innovation or willingness to explore new routes. No career growth for current employees and there’s a general expectation to work over time without pay, compensation or a healthy work life balance. The current workforce is made up of 50% interns. That they pay a sad excuse of a stipend then proceed to not hire them full time. The disparity between departments is horrible. Unrealistic deadlines for some and unnecessary favors for others. The HR is unhelpful in most cases, no commitment to employee assistance and unreasonably slow. There’s a general preference for people who always agree with their “innovative ideas” rather than listening to employees who know current industry trends and practices. The Cheif Creative Officer’s lack of decorum and propriety especially towards his team is a clear indicator that this company has no values or ethos. The employee turnover/retention is below the bar. The KPIs and goals of the company is nonexistent, they are not ready for the new age media and will not last with their current pattern. I’d only advise someone to work here full time as a last resort. If you have another option, take that over working with this company. Not worth the time, effort and abuse. ……also the “positive” reviews are fake. I’m just embarrassed to have this place on my CV.

Pros

This is not even a question. Free cheap snacks cannot compensate for the mental torture they put the employees go through. Absolutely nothing positive about this company

Cons

So many!!! Poor work culture, limited to no skill employees, toxic rat race culture and no intervention from the management as this is what they preach too. Ridiculous place and not worth to be called an OFFICE! They play with you career and growth and move away as if they don’t care. Have zero expectations when you plan to join them, which I’d say please avoid unless it’s very very critical. The 2-3 positive reviews are written by the HRs and are all biased. Save your career and avoid joining this parade of low-IQ team
