    Pros

Technical excellence Juniors get paid overtime for all work. Golder works for a wide range of interesting clients. Very flexible work hours, including working from home.

    Cons

While friendly, there isnt much of a collegiate atmosphere. Salary is lower than some/most competitors Benefits and bonuses are limited. Most employee rewards are gained through share ownership.

I have been working at Golder Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Quantity and diversity of works. Low focus on changeability and utilisation. Good interaction between different groups within the office. Good work mates. Flexible work environment.

    Cons

Having to buy a LOT of shares to progress in the company above Senior level. Office location. On boarding was very lack lustre. Not enough training on the management systems used by the company. No continuity of end product, each different office did things differently from logging to report templates.

    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Golder Associates full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You will meet technically gifted people and learn a lot in a short space of time about a variety of industries. You will do well if you fit in and are male with a big ego and are prepared to sacrifice your work/life balance and morality to succeed. Otherwise prepare to work hard for little reward and empty promises and make sure you can tolerate a bit of colonialist or sexist 'banter' now and again.

    Cons

Don't expect a supportive environment. Management style is poor. Managers are often in positions due to length of service and are incompetent at managing people. 'Breadcrumbing' to junior staff is common place.
