Pros

The patients and most coworkers.

Cons

Duplicitous upper management, no job security, no room for promotion, low salaries and non existent raises. Absent Supervision, only given attention for negative concerns. No training offered.

Pros

There are no pros to working here since the old CEO retired

Cons

Too many CEOs to this company that don’t talk or manage a place how it should be managed. It’s all about the money now and not actually helping people. Some coworkers are great but that’s it. The hours are long especially for nurses. They expect you to literally bend over backwards, work over time, add way too many clients to your list that you can’t possibly help them with real results and than try and make you feel bad when you want to spend time with family, while management goes on vacations. They pay well but not worth it for the aggravation especially when it’s a use or lose situation. I noticed the website changed and has “behavioral health” on it yet not one person that works there actually has any knowledge or has studied behavioral health. The fact is this place has plummeted the minute the old CEO retired and they basically hired 20 people to take his place but they aren’t actually doing anything good to help the company or people looking for help.

- Pros: Sometimes a change in leadership and organizational culture helps those who have different values find a better fit. We hope you found what works for you. - Cons: Gosnold has had only three CEOs in the 50 years it has been in business. Richard Curcuru, LICSW, has been our CEO since 2016. In addition, throughout the organization, we employ experts in psychiatric/behavioral health. Our organizational values necessitate we provide the best possible care for our patients and support our teams in doing so. We are glad to hear our compensation met your expectations . We strive for excellence and accountability within our organization and invite employees to share this kind of feedback early enough to allow us to work collaboratively in finding a mutually beneficial solution.

Pros

The staff truly care about the patients/clients and really do want to help. They are hardworking, kind and dedicated people and coworkers.

Cons

The leadership is very insular. They are more concerned with blind loyalty than performance and decisions are not made based on merit.
