Pros
Some good perks, social functions and a great annual retreat.
Cons
High turnover and no independent HR department or process. There are no consequences for poor performance, the rest of the team is simply left to pick up the slack. Management is not very progressive and has no appetite for introducing changes and efficiencies, they would rather stick with the status quo. Social events and food don't make up for a bad work environment.
