Pros

Stable structure with clearly defined processes. Predictable working hours, rarely excessive overtime. Fixed remote work schedule (not changing week to week). Daily free fruit and a bagel once a week. A good place to gain initial corporate experience.

Cons

Very limited career progression: long-time employees with connections to management occupy key positions, leaving no room for juniors or mids to grow beyond the basic salary. Legacy “public sector” mentality persists, resulting in bureaucracy and lack of meritocracy. Work is repetitive and uninspiring, with no opportunities for innovation. No professional development opportunities such as seminars, training, or conferences, since the company sticks to fixed ways of working for a narrow market segment. “Performance reviews” are often just a cover for dismissals, with decisions pre-made regardless of actual results. Favoritism, gossip, and lack of transparency in management. Extremely heavy workload for Performance Marketers: you may handle anywhere from 80 to 150 accounts, depending on employee turnover.
