Shady practices. Promoting and hiring those that fit the image they want without interviewing staff. Workload is twice the normative for the job. Lack of training. Lack of leadership. Lack of caring of employees as people. Toxic work environment. Rules and expectations change on the fly and you can be penalized for others mistakes due to lack of training.

Gryphon place likes to state itself as a bastion of help and wellness to the community but on the inside is as far from it as they come. There is no support for front line workers, no empowerment for management, and overall lack of health and well-being that one looks for in a work place environment. It’s catty, to say the least, and bullies reign free in upper administration- threatening jobs and livelihoods for the thrill of it. They expect front line crisis workers to take call after call as if they were machines, not having to deal with real human emotions day in and day out listening to the traumas of the people on the other end of the phone. They are just there to meet quotas. Don’t work here.
