      Poorly Managed all the way up

      Pros

      Was an excellent company to work for salary was competeive, benefits were expensive but very good. Mid-level Management allowed you to do your job without micromanaging you.

      Cons

      It all came to a stop when GME got their 1st qtr losses 2015 and the Stockholders were not happy. This came at the drivers expense with very substantial paycuts. Many of us had to leave, including myself. I went from 80K+ plus a year to under 60k and had to work more hours to get the 60K. Not all companys had this type of cuts when oil prices dropped. I'm now working for one of them.

      Backed by old, sound, founder money.

      Cons

      Gender and racial issues not addressed properly. Management hides behind the Texas right to fire and right to abuse contractors. It's better for their bottom line and less liability to use employees as private contractors.

      Great benefits good time off decent trucks and great schedule

      Cons

      Poor management he has favoritism when a questionis asked he gets upset. Rejects hourly cause he wants you to give company 1 free hour which does not compensate on a dropped load. He also hures a driver on from 7-7 but 98% of the time it does not work. He also admit several times to drivers the only reason why he is here is for insurance and he never wanted supervision job.. v.p of company is his best buddy from older company so if supervisor do something wrong he is protected
