Pros

If you're a people pleaser, you'll last here forever.

Cons

The CEO will work you to the bone and pay you a pittance to do it. He (and therefore the company) is highly disorganized. He constantly forgets everything he asks you to do, looks to blame you at every turn, has unreasonable expectations, overloads you with work that no single person can sanely handle. You will be interrupted and distracted throughout the day with calls & "urgent" tasks, thus affecting your productivity and workflow. And when you are unable to handle a supremely stupid workload as a result of the distractions, guess what.... it's your fault! The employees are miserable, but no one tells him the truth to his face. If you do, he'll start looking for excuses to throw you out. I saw this played out again and again during the time I was there. The culture is supremely toxic, but you'd never guess it going in. It's only many weeks later that you realize you've stepped into a vortex of slime and doom where the power-hungry CEO plays out his deepest desires to lord it over people (his employees).

Pros

I've been with Helm for nearly a year now and in this time I've grown a lot professionally. Working with a remote team has its ups and downs, but this particular team is awesome. The environment definitely encourages constant communication - positive reinforcements, and constructive criticisms are the M.O. here. Vital that you are comfortable with taking AND giving criticism.

Cons

If you don't establish boundaries, you might find yourself working 10-12 hour days or weekends. Sometimes things change so rapidly, and there are times when instructions have been given and by the time of execution of a task, plans have changed so that your work for that task is no longer relevant.

Pros

There were no pros at all

Cons

During the interview I asked about micro-management, to which I was told recruiters aren't micro-managed; one week later when I started the job we were told that our screens (on our personal devices) would be recorded throughout the entire day. Positions to recruit for weren't guaranteed, but you still would have to work the full schedule.
