Terrible salary: all employees are at a really bad salary, they try to extort as much as possible and they keep hiring people with no experience to pay as little as possible. Commissions are also very low compared to what other agencies pay. Pay disparity: people with same qualifications and level of experience are offered completely different salaries. Terrible timings: the timings are 8:15 to 17:45 with no flexibility whatsoever. They call people out for coming just few mins late or for taking breaks to go out. You are expected to just stay at your desk and keep working. One of the cofounders has directly and shamelessly spoken to several employees about why they leave exactly at 5:45, he directly asks people to stay longer without any extra compensation or even appreciation. Favoritism: the company is full of this, their favorites keep getting promoted, while they treat others like trash. Sometimes they do silent firing (they stop giving roles to a specific employee) in the hopes that that person will resign herself. Micromanagement: one of the cofounders there who manages the tech team micromanages like no tomorrow, he specifically checks how many profiles people have viewed or inmailed every week rather than just focusing on how they deliver on roles or get placements on roles. While the other cofounder is much better, this one is terrible to work under. No transparency: they dont even announce if anyone resigns or gets fired or gets hired. No announcements whatsoever. The office is sadly full of gossip due to their poor leadership and lack of communication. Failure to give feedback: they just fire interns or even permanent employees who dont do well rather than giving constructive feedback and trying to give them training and guidance. They clearly have no intention of helping people grow. They also sometimes send out passive aggressive emails to get a point across rather than directly speaking to an employee about a mistake of theirs. Absence of empathy: they dont care if anyone is sick, they refuse sick leaves and deduct them from salary or force to take annual leave and if someone has taken too many sick leaves, they say any other sick leave will be unpaid, even if the employee has been a loyal employee for months or years. Even if someone tells them they're pregnant, instead of being happy for that person, they look annoyed because that person will need extra leaves. They really feel no empathy whatsoever. No farewell: its very sad that they don’t do farewells for anyone, especially when someone has worked there for 2 years and still not even a cake or any small gesture. They are just bitter whenever someone leaves. Unfairness and no sick leaves: they dont give sick leave during probation, which is fine as per law but its funny that they dont think about the law when they expect you to work on your days off or on the weekends or extra hours, but when you really need a sick leave, its suddenly "we have the right by law", hilarious. Their receptionist: Everyone notices she does all the HR and admin work, she handles visa, insurances, contracts, lots and lots of things yet they wont give her an HR or admin title, probably so she doesnt leave them for better opportunities, just sad. Terrible business acumen: they work with big companies, but they are not smart about who they work with as they mostly work with companies who work with several agencies themselves or have big internal TA team, this means that all employees working the roles barely have any chance of getting jobs closed. This is just not a smart way of running a business. Not to mention that even if a role has been open for a year or more, they keep asking someone to work on that same role for months, but this might also be a part of silent firing. People who joined HRsource made the mistake of not reading through glassdoor before joining, I hope this review saves someone from regret of joining this company.
