      Pros

      HSB Stockholm is a reputable organisation; in many respects it succeeds in balancing its cooperative mission, scale, housing needs, member satisfaction, and sustainability. It offers a kind of stability and social value that purely commercial housing developers might not match. The company is generally also good at employee care.

      Cons

      However, it is not without its drawbacks. The heritage of being a large and traditional organization brings a certain inertia — changes tend to move slowly, internal procedures can be cumbersome, and maintaining consistent quality across all divisions is difficult. In addition, compensation levels may be somewhat lower than those offered by more commercially driven competitors.
