I've been reflecting on my time at Haiilo, a company that positions itself as a leader in employee engagement. Despite these claims, my experience has highlighted a significant gap between what is preached and the reality of the company's internal culture. It's disheartening to witness a lack of genuine commitment to employee development. Opportunities for growth and support seem to be selectively distributed, undermining the essence of what employee engagement should foster. Furthermore, it's alarming to note instances where serious allegations, instead of being rigorously investigated and addressed, are seemingly overlooked. Actions that should warrant disciplinary measures appear to be ignored or, worse, rewarded. This not only questions the integrity of the company's values but also casts a shadow over the safety and well-being of its employees. The dichotomy between the company's external messaging and its internal practices is stark. A true leader in employee engagement must embody the principles of respect, equity, and accountability across all levels of the organization. It's crucial for Haiilo to reevaluate its policies and practices to ensure they align with the values it professes to uphold

Haiilo is undergoing the next stage in it's lifecycle to continue growing while ensuring we do it right. Naturally people are opposed to change, In my experience it's par for the course when working in a fast paced SaaS business.
