Pros

comfortable size of workstation/desk. coffee machine. well stock fridge/pantry. health benefits covers family

Cons

this senior management (a lady) have Authoritarianism leadership style. who demoralizes and damages the people underneath them. Manifest unprofessional behavior, disrespecting higher management and undermining subordinates years of experiences and efforts. zero appreciation, only offer criticism without recognizing positive contributions. join if you like to work on your annual leave, during sick leave, or after office hours. micromanage - dictate every part of the process, demand constant updates that can further delay the result and make the work tedious. subordinates can only act/work according to her will/instructions. otherwise be prepared to get "criticised" at . She wants a robot instead of human. lack of empathy - gossiping about other colleagues, screaming at own subordinates, selfish, flaunting wealth verbally in front of minimum wage employees (it might be a joke but carried too far), always in foul mood, taking anger out on subordinates, passive-aggressive manipulative poor leadership - does not exhibit positive qualities & motivation. doesn't lead by example. stay away quietly in her corner whenever we are at the peak of busy period, but ready to make appearance to take credit. favoritism - play favorites, special treatment

Pros

1. Friendly and supportive colleagues make the workday more bearable. 2. If you're lucky with your manager, there may be some flexibility in working hours. 3. Long lunch breaks (up to 2 hours) due to the company’s China-based culture.

Cons

1. Severely limited learning and development opportunities — no structured training or skill-building support. 2. No annual performance reviews, which leads to a complete lack of transparency around career progression or promotions. 3. Compensation is well below market standards. No salary increments or bonuses for years, regardless of performance. 4. Employee benefits have been significantly downgraded post-2025, including reduced health checks, dental coverage, and co-payment requirements. 5. Management avoids making decisions or taking accountability. 6. Top-down communication style that lacks transparency. Employees are often left in the dark, and feedback channels are ineffective or ignored. 7. There is no remote work option, even post-pandemic. 8. Annual leave and benefits are average at best and do not make up for the poor compensation. 9. Internal culture often feels closed-off, with decisions made behind closed doors (among management's own clique), minimal employee involvement.
