I personally enjoy having flexible working hours because it allows me to maintain a wonderful work-life balance. After all, flexible schedules are unique from the conventional 9-to-5, five-day-a-week job. This adaptability is linked to the job schedule, hours, and location. In short, flexible schedules allow me to decide when, where, and how they will perform my duties. Job freedom caused me to fall in love with my job and start working even more.

The interview process of Halleyx is something to talk about. For the first time, I got to hear someone explain the perks and vision (and a humorous meme compilation to ease everyone), rather than rushing over the daunting strategies to clear the interview during the pre-placement talk. The psychometric test, made more sense than the regular aptitude tests. I had already got swayed towards the company at that point and got ready for the next round, a 4-day hackathon. I worked hard to complete the task, but as a novice, I could not produce a complete implementation. Good thing that my learning potential was analyzed, and I was able to attend the technical interview. I felt calm and confident about the way the CTO treated me. The final interview evaluated my personality without the boring “tell me about yourself” type of trivia. It has been over a year for me now at Halleyx. My work-life balance has never been disrupted as we can work remotely with a flexible schedule whenever necessary.
