Pros

Good pay but wasn't really there long enough to find out anytime else.

Cons

Was hired on and encouraged to put in my notice at my current job. Filled out all the paperwork, completed all the training during my days off at my current job, only to be told a week before that they went with an internal hire. My position was already filled at my current job and I had withdrawn my applications at other companies because I had already already completed my training days. Really kinda ruined my life for something that sounds like it should not have been interviewing for in the first place.

Pros

The money here was really good. While we would go through slow seasons, I feel like it evened out really well. The people here are amazing and for the restaurant world there is pretty little drama.

Cons

The head sushi chef is always upset about something and makes the server's and manager's lives difficult. The owner is also a little weird and never comes into the restaurant. You aren't allowed to answer any questions about him, and despite his lack of involvement and not knowing what's really happening on the ground he makes decisions as if he does and rarely listens to the managers. Overall though, as a server these issues are easy to avoid since they don't affect your position too much.
