Pros

I wanted to preface all of the pros by saying you will experience a lot of growth as a person in this role and upper management values watching that tangible growth more than your sales production. A strong focus on developing yourself in the ways that you explicitly want. Speaking from a personal perspective, door to door sales with Fortune 500 money backing you has taught me so many transferable sales skills. Shorter hours, ramping pay, weekly paycheck Merit Pay - Your skill in the role will increase often and quickly and will amount to more money weekly. Earned autonomy, if you're having a successful day on your own accord, go home and enjoy the rest of the day, it's encouraged in fact. Routine creation, this role will help you create structure in your life. Training pay is decent given the VERY low amount of hours worked during training, for example, 2pm - 4:30 pm, or 11:30 - 2:00 pm. Mini team gatherings, Margaritas, mimosas, dancing, hookah.

Cons

Biggest con by far after having been successful in the role: No PTO. Door to door sales, it's difficult and it makes you feel as if you're imposing, the first three weeks were very challenging, I wanted to quit every day. If you aren't willing to learn the role, you will not make money, point blank period. This is the type of sale where you are going to be told no an excessive amount of times even when the customer is a perfect fit. Merit pay - Expect to be paid less at the start, you need grit and proper training You ARE expected to become a bigger and better person outside of successful sales, if you are at a stage in your life where attempting to better yourself and become an objectively better person sounds like a chore, this will probably suck for you.

Pros

Training is pretty good I suppose.

Cons

When I applied for this job, I applied believing that it was either work from home or an office job. Boy was I wrong. Door to door salesman in 110 heat is insane.
