Pros

1/2 day fridays, staff sale days, flexible working arrangement

Cons

Poor leadership from senior management, HR only supporting those that "victimises" themself enough, no development or support for middle managers to progress, no clear process for holding people accountable. Lapping on additional responsibilities that is pretty much meant to be 2-3 full time roles into 1. No pay increases YOY apart from the standard CPI, to the point new roles and responsibilities are not market comparable. Favouritism gets highlighted at all levels and promoted, those with the skills, experience delivering results are neglected and overlooked.

Pros

1/2 day Friday. Good, supportive, inclusive work culture. Staff sales.

Cons

Line managers refusal to lead, act more like bosses and never seem to want to adapt. Prefer to be stuck in old, archaic processes that they refuse to update yearly. Line managers poor attempt to integrate new ideas and stuck to the "I did it this way for X years, you can too" mentality. Poor onboarding, training was drip fed, no "first day buddy", again due to poor line management. Archaic, century old processes. Multi-billion dollar international company and we still have to open 5 excel documents or e-mail 10 employees to find one answer. Horrifyingly long work hours, work life balance almost non existent and most of the time 1/2 day Fridays become redundant. Remuneration not justifiable on this basis. Binding, century old processes that do not create employee autonomy. Out sourcing of key departments creating long wait times and leading to more questions than answers. Overlapping of additional responsibilities not relate to job title, that should be for 2-3 more employees. Unreasonable and annoying sales requests that only add a small fraction to the overall yearly sales yet will cause unreasonable workloads for all other departments. You learn faster processes from other departments or former department workers as your line manager is a poor excuse of a "leader"
