Pros

Decent hourly wage at $17/hr. Work exclusively Fri-Sun which can be amenable for students or people with second jobs.

Cons

Unstable pay: hours can be dramatically reduced week to week as work is contingent on upper management successfully securing roadshow space inside wholesale stores. Poor communication: upper management provides conflicting information on their success with securing roadshows. Physically demanding: poorly designed workplaces coupled with unstable staffing will leave you occasionally very fatigued. Unpaid work: management restocks by mailing supplies to your house with the expectation that you will ferry it to work for free in your car. Low reimbursement: only reimburses 50 cents/mile every mile after driving 25 miles one way.

Pros

Its a job to say the least

Cons

You’re very micro managed, no trust, business does not provide resources for success, overworked, pressure and expect you to come to work daily during pandemic even if sick, good work is not rewarded, cronies are rewarded and promoted

Pros & Cons

Business outlook

Pros

Dynamic environment, interesting brands, a handful of dedicated, decent employees, unlimited PTO, competitive benefits & comp

Cons

Employees are considered a line item on an income statement. No openness to divergent thinking. Highly competitive environment. Ability to impact the business minimal since all decisions are pushed top down onto the brands - the opposite of what is promised during interviews.
