Pros
Great engineering team that comes from great engineering leadership. People are really invested in the mission, and engineers really think about the end product. There's great ownership, accountability, and sense of camaraderie. Lots of smart, caring people who want to work together to make something useful and dependable.
Cons
I left in early 2026 as the team was working through reworking engineering roles and responsibilities with AI. There were definitely still kinks to be worked out with new workflows around architecting, writing, and reviewing code as I left. Also not necessarily a con, but there's definitely a startup mentality. Things can pivot quickly. You have to be ready and willing to change priorities with little notice.
