Pros
You get to hang around with the owner's of the company on a daily basis while working for our East Coast hub. The CTO will fly you in his personal Cesna when time allows. They are well known within the local business community, so if and/ or when you may decide to find work elsewhere, the owners are a perfect professional referral. All management levels take any ideas to help advance the company seriously from anyone including janitorial. You have an end of year party.
Cons
Sometimes slow to respond to ideas. Even mid-level management admits pay could be better, though they realize with a company our size that is often a tall order. Break room looks and feels kinda...UUUUHHHHH???? Enough so, that one could wish HGTV would have a game show ala "Ugliest Houses" but for break rooms. Then there is all of that random clutter. You know, the kind that says, "If my spouse knew I had all of this stuff, they would become the next Loraine LaBobbitt."
