When I first started they didn't give me any basic training tools to succeed as an assistant manager. The general manager there was lazy and having the employees do all his paper work and train me as well. I wasn't suppose to be trained as a sales associate but as a manager so the proper trainer was off. Manager was inappropriate with his employers, made me and everyone he worked with uncomfortable. Lack of knowledge and was rude to the customers. I switched locations and that wasn't any better, Training was still off. General manager hired people who could never be on time, I had no authority over the employees. My manager hired thieves, shortages of cartons of cigs that I had to pay for. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you have to pay for shortages, its the companies lost, not yours!! Very unprofessional working experience, given to a bunch of people who don't know how to properly manage a store. I do not recommend if you are serious about your job.
