Pros

I love the work with the clients and my co workers. health benefits are good. great learning experience

Cons

misled during interview as to days off and policies of agency. was promised supervision towards my license which took 5 months to secure since my clinical director/supervisor was not qualified . low pay and micro management by clinical director. pits staff against each other. 100 % of the clinical staff is seeking other work. filing a grievance brings retaliation.

Pros

Ability to help people. Encouraged to be creative, use own kills to enhance education for patients. Non-profit has lower pay but great benefits

Cons

Not enough government support-millions available for new programs-no additional supports for existing programs. Could help High Point to increase salaries if anyone in govt. is listening out there!

Pros

I did like the nurses and doctors as well as the discharge planners and floor staff.

Cons

This Hospital is dangerously understaffed and honestly I have no idea how they stay open. Clinician's can sometimes be responsible for 20 critically unstable patients who are often in active withdrawal or psychosis. There is no way to give people what they need because there is not enough time to do it even when you pull 12 hour days. Yet they keep filling every unit to capacity with no staff to care for the patients. No consideration for the staff that need to handle it. This is why they can't get clinician's to stay longer than a few months. If you value your professional license or your sanity look for a job elsewhere.
