Pros
Hard to know where to start. HIreClix is like an oasis. An island of the misfit toys. Where good people come, to spread their wings. Neil Costa, the founder/ CEO (I think that's his technical title), is possibly one of the greatest humans I've ever met. Full stop. He loves, loves his people. Gives them freedom, encourages them to try, lets them fail, picks them up, and motivates them again. This is probably the flattest company I've ever been part of - there are no walls, titles are not important, great ideas really come from everyone. It's amazing. And I'm barely scratching the surface. There are dogs in the office. There's beer in the fridge. Lunches show up, on the company, all the time. Top-tier PPO from Blue Cross, great benefits in general. But... it's just... it's just how damn cool the _people_ are. I drive here to work with my friends. People I love to hang out with. A client, at a trade show recently, told me "when I'm at a conference, and I'm bored or worn out or whatever, I come hang out with your gang, because I _know_ I'll be laughing and happy again within minutes. You people are _fun_." Oh, and at that same conference? In 4 different talks, the presenters (none of them work for us), called us out as amazing. The top analyst in HR Tech called us "the company to watch".
Cons
Hmm. None for me. That said, if you need hierarchy, absolutely defined paths, lots and lots of process... then this place would not be fun for you. That said, if you're at all human? This place will be fun for you.
