Pros

some of the people are great, remote work

Cons

1. the ceo doesnt care about the company. he is either late to every meeting or reschedules them. he laid a group of people off a few weeks back and then laughed about it in an all hands after. its really sad to think this is someone i originally thought was cool. nope 2. the pay is terrible. if you ask for a raise you will be told no 3. some of the people who consider themselves "social justice warriors" have said things that are beyond insensitive 4. you will be told to work on projects that are thrown in the trash. my boss never once has told me good job, its always about what i did wrong. its really hard on your mental health to work for someone like that. 5. it seems like some people here are out to get each other. I can't seem to figure that out. 6. benefits are not great 7. they do not seem to care about mental health

Grasping At Straws

Pros

A number of employees tried really hard.

Cons

-CEO denied multiple employee's their bonuses for over a year because he claimed the company didn't have the money. Many people left or got laid off without ever seeing their payouts. -Company is grasping at straws, trying to create a solution for a problem that doesn't exist. -Prospects find what they're being pitched to be gimmicky. -CEO has rose tinted shades on and believes his solution is incredible. It's not and actually had prospects say Emogi wouldn't go anywhere as they had tried similar things and people didn't engage with it. -A very limited pool of potential prospects to pitch to and when those run dry then so does any opportunity
