Pros

Nice colleagues and manager in store

Cons

Horrible hours, terrible pay, take money off you for uniform, typical uninspiring retail environment, insulting 10cent extra/hour on sundays, they will take 15 mins pay off of you if your any more than 60 seconds late, little to no flexibility in work hours, learn nothing as with all retail jobs. If youre a student looking for part time work look elsewhere.

Pros

The staff are absolutely lovey, you will meet amazing people there.

Cons

Money is terrible, shifts are long, the managers are a disgrace, they will work you to the bone and then bully you relentlessly it’s horrific the amount of times I my self and others left their shift in tears

Pros

I made a handful of life long friends with floor staff as we were all in the same boat of having to deal with the disgraceful management that was in place.

Cons

This company is poorly run. From the CEOs to the area managers and store managers they consistently push you to your limits physical and mentally. They use intimidation as a tactic and take advantage of those who show initiative to work while those who are usless to the company are sitting around getting the same pay and the same thanks. Management frequently go out of there way to argue with you when you have a different opinion or make a suggestion. There’s no respect for the staff by the company.example you get a €50 voucher to spend in store and only receive a 10% store discount. Often I have received my payslip days after being paid so if there is an issue it can’t be resolved. You get your roster for the week hours before you start. Overall badly run Now onto the working conditions. I worked in the Riverside store in Galway and that building is not fit for purpose. The roof has multiple leaks the heaters barely ever work ( winter you can see your breath in the shop) the fire emergency exists couldn’t be opened for about 2 years which was only fixed recently as they received a complaint. I worked here for a number of years and eventually had to leave as the constant harassment from management took a huge toll on my mental health. I know of others who had to do the same for the sake of their mental health. Cannot stress enough to stay clear of a company like this. The stress and torment from management isn’t worth minimum wage
