      This Company is a Mess with no Direction

      Pros

      Health benefits and salary. The company holds a Christmas buffet and they celebrate company wide birthdays with a cake once a month. Easy to stay off the map and collect a check. If you are a sales person that works for commission this is not the place for you.

      Cons

      - Terrible management. - No career growth - No metrics, no structure and no guidance. -No training as to how to demonstrate the software you will be required to sell. -The customers that use this software are for the most part unsatisfied. - Commission is flaky and changes often. -The turnover is beyond belief. Managers/coworkers will come and go. -Outdated software. This company is at least five years behind with some of its product. -Unprofessional/unethical in may areas.

      Ask their HR how many people they have lost before you talk to them

      Relaxed environment Easy to get under the radar and not have to work too hard

      Cons

      Management is all about numbers since they are owned by a public company. They had several lay offs even the company is still profitable. Upper management never had to be responsible for losing their DOD project which costed many jobs. Their product is so behind the current technology. They are talking about .net being cutting edge while people are going "cloud". This is a place where employees are not valued at all. If you consider to apply for this company, ask how many people they have lost both voluntarily and lay offs, you will be surprised and you will not walk but run!

      Since the company was sold as a "start up" to a corporate entity, it has been a miserable work environment.

      Pros

      Benefits are comparable to other large companies with the exception of no matching 401(k). You'd thank a company that is part of a large company such as Roper could provide more adequate retirement benefits. Advancement opportunities are available but it all depends on who you know. You get your birthday off as part of the holiday package

      hEvery day, workers come in wondering if they will have a job. Layoffs are routine and happen on an all to frequent basis. Usually it's not the fault of the person who is being laid off, but the management that can't look past the end of their nose to see what the real issues are.o is being layed off, but the management that can't look past the end of their nose to see what the real issues are.

      We do provide a 401k match and encourage our employees to contribute to their 401k plans early and often to build a secure retirement. We haven't had a layoff since 2011. We do have high expectations on job performance and contributions to our team success.
