Pros
good company to work for in terms of the highest level of management was supportive in any initiative you wanted to pursue. I always found that the highest level was very receptive and supportive of new ideas and initiatives
Cons
unfortunately a culture has development where middle to upper level management is fearful and in a constant CYA mode, only willing to support an initiative after they have percieved that the highest level is in favor of it. Too much sticking their proverbial finger in the air to see which way the wind blows before making a decision to support or not support an initiative.
