Pros
You can make money here. There are leads and that is something many sales jobs don't offer. The company has a good reputation and that generates a high number of inbound inquiries. I'm used to hunting, and I continue to do that, but it's great to be able to balance that with closing inbound opportunities. One of my coworkers told me when I started "if you can't make it happen here, you probably shouldn't be in sales." That is spot on.
Cons
This industry is tough and competitive. What you need is all there in front of you, but you have to work for it. I've seen other sales reps fail because they didn't want to work for deals.
