Pros
The hotel rooms are unique. The hotel recently received a Michelin star.
Cons
My experience working at Hotel Zaza was disappointing. Favoritism is rampant, and there is very little room for growth. Certain departments are heavily restricted, making career advancement nearly impossible. Management does not encourage professional development and, in some cases, actively hinders employees' growth. The work environment is micromanaged, and managers are often passive-aggressive, making it clear who their favorites are. Work-life balance is not a priority, as leadership operates under the mindset that because it’s the hospitality industry, employees shouldn’t complain. On top of that, the health insurance is subpar—it was difficult to find doctors who accepted the coverage. If you're looking for a supportive and growth-oriented workplace, this is not the place.
